Better Breakfast brand eyeing Knoxville for development
Famous Toastery is looking to Tennessee for expanding its brand, specifically targeting Knoxville as a promising area for growth. The better-breakfast chain believes Knoxville's demographics and growing population provides a great opportunity for Famous Toastery to find suitable potential investors.
“There’s just certain places in the country that have a great trajectory right now,” Famous Toastery CEO and Founder Robert Maynard told the Knoxville News Sentinel on why Tennessee is on their radar for growth.
Famous Toastery plans to have three locations in the Knoxville area by 2019. Maynard believes Famous Toastery rises above competing better-breakfast chains in the Knoxville area through its speedy service, with ticket times running 3 to 6 minutes, and personable staff. They also use a top-notch ingredients cooked in a from-scratch kitchen to offer customers the freshest food.
“We’re the antithesis of the greasy spoon,” Maynard told the Knoxville News Sentinel.
